REP KC works closely with the Council including the K&C Partnership and the Community Relations Section, and has contributed to the recently published Community Strategy.

Your Kensington and Chelsea, Your Say

A new strategy to improve life for everyone in the RBKC has been drawn up by the K&C Partnership. It sets out long-term ambitions for improving life in K&C and how these will be achieved. The document will be formally published in December.

Kensington and Chelsea Partnership Compact and Codes of Practice 2007


A new edition of The Compact between the statutory and voluntary sectors in Kensington and Chelsea, The Principles of Working Together in Partnership, has been published. It combines the general principles and all the codes of practice on funding and procurement, consultation, volunteering and black and minority organisations for the first time. A Compact Implementation Group, with representation from voluntary and statutory partners, is meeting to take this work forward.

This new VOF is open to all voluntary and community organisations working in Kensington and Chelsea, with an interest in issues that affect communities. The forum will be focussing on such issues as community cohesion, safety and sustainability.

RBKC residents can become a Resident Reviewer: testing services and then reporting back on experience.
